Artist question tag!
1. Are you self taught or do you take classes?
Self taught.
2. Do you consider yourself a good artist?
Absolutely not. I think I may have potential but my mental health has been quite a big boulder in my way to practicing and learning more. Still working on it, hoping to get better and draw more.
3. How long have you been drawing?
Generally speaking, since I was 2 or 3. I started out being a tad more serious about it ever since I discovered anime (Sailor Moon) when I was about 10-12.
4. What annoys you most about being an artist?
The fact that whenever I see I fail, I consider I will always fail at it and give up on drawing for a good while.
5. What do you draw most?
Female anatomy. My father constantly told me that I should draw other things too, but I would like to move on to to other things only when I believe I have learned enough about the face and body of a girl/woman and how to get over the same-face / same-body syndrome.
6. Traditional or digital?
Digital, because it feels like it doesn't put as much pressure as the traditional does. When you do traditional, it feels like that line you made is permanent and the eraser can't do much. With digital, though, everything can be erased, undone or if you dislike a color, it can be modified. I have enough anxiety in my life, I want to enjoy drawing not dread it.
7. Has someone ever said you were bad?
I have always received constructive criticism only, mostly due to the fact that I didn't share my drawings too much. I'm not ready yet to be openly criticized.
8. Who inspired you?
Sailor Moon, haha.
9. Do you multitask while drawing?
I can mostly listen to music to motivate me. But don't ask me to talk or listen to a conversation, I'll certainly lose my focus.
